Three years ago departing from a career in economics I began photographing abandoned businesses. Through photography I document the end result of our economic patterns. How “For Sale or Lease” signs seem to out number “Open for Business” signs. I became fascinated with the promise the empty spaces contained, and how the image becomes an advertisement for both potential and failure.
